A CULTURE OF QUALITY

Amala Carpets provides clean filtered waters to its communities
Filtered drinking water

Our manufacturing methods meet strict quality and environmental standards. The eco-friendly dyes used to make the colours in an Amala Carpet are derived from pure, plant sources.

NOTHING IS WASTED & NO TOXIC CHEMICALS

Highly efficient, emissions-free steam boilers are used in the process of washing our fine wools. Carpets are dried naturally in the Nepalese sunshine. Water is constantly circulated for reuse and leftover yarn is recaptured.

HIGHER QUALITY OF LIFE

FAIR AND COMPASSIONATE LABOUR PRACTICES

Amala Carpets does not use child labour. Weavers and their families have access to quality medical and dental healthcare, pure filtered drinking water and housing. Educational opportunities are available for children and young adults.
